North Aisle Roof - Fundraising

A few years ago St Johns Church had to have some work done on our roof to ensure that it continued to be weatherproof.  At the time, a decision was made to leave the North Aisle roof for the time being due to funding issues and it not being as urgent as the main roof.

The time has however come that the work on the North Aisle roof needs to be done to replace the wooden pegs and re-lay the slates.  The estimated cost of this work is £50,000.

The church is therefore going to be holding a number of fundraising events to raise money for the repairs.  Details of upcoming events can be found here : Fundraising Events
